About Renee

Welcome. I’m Renee Ellis, creator of Renee’s Desert Rub and Renee’s Desert Glaze. I’m also a private chef!

After attending the Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, New York, I moved to Arizona where I became a chef at many Arizona Resorts, which include: The Arizona Biltmore, The Double Tree, The Hilton, Hyatt, Registry and Terraces at Gainey Ranch.

After my time at these fine Phoenix and Scottsdale resorts, I became a private chef for CEO’s and sports professionals including Curt Shilling while he was pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In 1998, I created Renee’s Desert Rub and two years later, Renee’s Desert Glaze to enhance the meals of my many clients. Due to the popularity of my products, I decided to market them.

If you’re an Arizona resident, you can purchase my Renee’s Desert Rub and Renee’s Desert Glaze in many upscale stores throughout the valley such as AJ’s Fine Foods, Queen Creek Olive Mill, Shades of the West in Old Town Scottsdale. Also found in stores throughout Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott and Tucson.
